The two-tone illustration below by John Kenney, an undisclosed Sodorian location
on a normal working day, was a familiar sight in the front and back end-covers
of the Rev W. Awdry's 26 books. However, it was updated in colour for Christopher
Awdry's books by Clive Spong. While Spong is meticulous in capturing the detail
of Kenney's original drawing, there are several major differences, (ignoring
the new colour and perspective).
