The Hunslet Engine Co. built this 2-6-2T "Russell" (pictured above) in 1906 for the North Wales Narrow Gauge Railways Company. This locomotive had a long career including being requisitioned for war service during WWII at an open pit ironstone mine in Oxfordshire. "Russell" is currently undergoing a major overhaul with the hopes that it will soon be seen again on the Welsh Highland Railway.
